Nach der Räumung des Fechenheimer Waldes Anfang des Jahres steht nun der erste Gerichtsprozess an. Am Montag, dem 13.11. muss sich ein Aktivisti wegen des Vorwurfs des Hausfriedensbruchs vor dem Amtsgericht Frankfurt verteidigen. Wir laden zur kritischen Prozessbegleitung ein.
Vor dem Gericht wird voraussichtlich es eine Mahnwache mit Reden, Musik und leckerem KüfA-Essen geben (ist noch nicht angemeldet). Beginn ist voraussichtlich 10:00 Uhr. Vor Ort liegen auch frisch gedruckte Exemplare des neu erschienen Buchs über den Widerstand gegen die Stadtautobahn A66 Riederwaldtunnel aus [1].

Für den Ausbau der Autobahn A66 ließ die Autobahn GmbH am 18. Januar den Fechenheimer Wald räumen und roden. Am Tag X waren mehr als 1500 Polizist*innen im Einsatz. Unter Androhung von Untersuchungshaft haben Menschen ihre Personalien preisgeben müssen. Gegen 15 dieser Menschen wird jetzt mitunter wegen Verdacht auf Hausfriedensbruch ermittelt. Am Montag soll nun der erste Gerichtsprozess stattfinden. Mensch wird sich vor Gericht selbst verteidigen und auch die verlangten 1500 Euro Räumungskosten nicht bezahlen.
Wir lassen uns von der Repression des Unrechtsstaats nicht einschüchtern und setzen unseren Protest im Gerichtssaal fort. Die Beweisanträge werden zeigen, dass der Ausbau der A66 ein großer Fehler ist und daraus ein Freispruch folgen muss. Die Politik muss für ihren Ökozid zur Verantwortung gezogen werden. Anstatt die Klimakrise als existenzielle Krise anzuerkennen und entsprechend zu handeln, belügt sie weiterhin die Menschen. Schon heute sterben im globalen Süden Menschen an den Folgen des von uns verursachten Klimawandel.
In letzter Zeit sind die Strafen gegen Klimaaktivist*innen drakonisch gestiegen. Menschen von Block Neurath oder der Letzten Generation wurden zu Haftstrafen ohne Bewährung verurteilt. Und das, ohne vorbestraft zu sein. Wir werden dem Staat ganz genau auf die Finger schauen, ob es hier zu einem fairen Prozess kommt oder ob das Urteil nicht schon vor der Verhandlung gefällt wurde.
Da Gerichtstermine auch gerne mal kurzfristig ausfallen, empfehlen wir, kurz vorher nochmal auf Twitter/Telegram vorbeizuschauen. Vor kurzem fand am AG Frankfurt eine Verhandlung der Letzten Generation statt, bei der Zuschauer*innen ihre ID nicht angeben mussten. Das ist natürlich keine Garantie und es kann zu schärferen Einlasskontrollen kommen. Trotzdem gilt: Auf dem Weg zu einer Mahnwache müssen Menschen ihre ID nicht angeben.

Press release: Invitation to critically follow the court case at Amtsgericht Frankfurt, Monday 11/13
Fechenheimer Wald having been evicted in the beginning of the year, now the first court case is coming up. At Monday November, 13th an activist has to stand trial at Amtsgericht Frankfurt for Hausfriedensbruch, i.e. illegally staying at private property.
We invite to join the trial and watch it critically.
In front of the court house there will presumably be a vigil / Mahnwache with speeches, music and yummy vegan KüfA food, which will start at 10am, to be confirmed.
There will also be a stock of the newly released books about the resistance against the city – motorway A66 / Riederwaldtunnel.
When: Monday 11/13/23

For the ongoing construction of motorway A66 and on behalf of the Autobahn AG, the Fechenheimer Wald had been evicted and partly uprooted on January, 18th 2023.
Under the menace of being arrested, persons were forced to give their identity. Investigations have started against approx 15 persons under suspicion of illegal presence.
On Monday the start of the first trial is scheduled.
The person accused will defend themselves and also not pay the bills of €1500 requested for the cost of the eviction.
We don’t let the repression of this state of injustice intimidate us and will continue our protest in the court room.
We will prove evidence, that the construction of A66 is an immense mistake and therefore the accused have to be released.
Politics has to be made responsible for the ecocide.
Instead of acknowledging climate change as an existential crisis they are still lying at the people. Many people are already dying in the global south due to the results of climate change caused by us.
In the last months, penalties against climate justice activists have dramatically increased. Persons of Block Neurath of the last generation have been condemned to prison sentences without probation, even though they had never been sentenced before.

Not so long ago at the same court there has been a trial against the last generation where visitors were not urged to give their ID, but it’s not guaranteed that there will not be tougher controls at the entrance.
Yet on the way to the Mahnwache – assembly you can’t be obliged to give your ID, that’s still true.
